Trip Itinerary

Departing from Hanoi on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday, this short escape to Sapa combines spectacular mountain scenery with vibrant ethnic minority markets. Discover colourful highland traditions, terraced rice fields, and authentic village life — all within a perfectly balanced 3-day journey.

Day 1 - Hanoi - Sapa

Morning transfer by car to Sapa (approx. 5 hours). Arrive in Sapa and enjoy lunch.

In the afternoon, drive to Muong Hoa Valley, famous for its vast terraced rice fields, traditional ethnic villages, and the winding Muong Hoa Stream. Take in panoramic views of the misty mountains, then enjoy a short walk to Lao Chai and Ta Van villages, inhabited mainly by the Black Hmong and Giay ethnic minority groups, with some Red Dao communities in the surrounding areas.

After the visit, return to Sapa. Free time to explore the town. Dinner at leisure.

Day 2 - Sapa

Drive to Ta Giang Phinh, a remote and unspoilt village nestled at the foot of the majestic Ngu Chi Son Mountain, approximately 30 km from Sapa town centre.

Enjoy a trek of around two hours along village trails connecting hamlets of the Hmong community, with beautiful views of the terraced rice fields.

After lunch, continue by car to Ban Khoang Village, home to the Red Dao community. Take a walking tour of the village before returning to Sapa in the afternoon.

Dinner at leisure.

Day 3 - Sapa - Market - Hanoi

Morning visit to a local ethnic market (Coc Ly, Lung Phinh, or Bac Ha, depending on the day).

After lunch, return to Hanoi.
