Begin your discovery of Hanoi with visits to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Mondays and Fridays), the Temple of Literature, and the iconic One Pillar Pagoda. Stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake before exploring the lively Old Quarter by cyclo – a delightful way to experience the city’s historic streets and daily life.

Head south to Ninh Binh, often called “Ha Long Bay on land”. Enjoy a warm village welcome and a hands-on home cooking experience in the Red River Delta. In the afternoon, glide along the peaceful waterways of Tam Coc in a traditional sampan, passing through caves and rice fields, then visit Bich Dong Pagoda nestled in the limestone hills.

After breakfast, drive to Ha Long Bay and embark on an overnight cruise in this UNESCO World Heritage Site, famed for its emerald waters and dramatic limestone karsts.

Cruise through the bay, drifting past timeless landscapes as the sun sets behind the towering formations.

Enjoy a final morning immersed in the serene beauty of Ha Long Bay, cruising through the bay before enjoying brunch on board. Return to the port and disembark.

Transfer to Noi Bai Airport for the flight to Da Nang.

Upon arrival, transfer to the atmospheric town of Hoi An.

Step back in time as you explore Hoi An’s beautifully preserved old town on foot. Visit an ancient merchant house, Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, the Japanese Covered Bridge, and the colourful market. Take part in a lantern-making workshop before a tranquil boat ride along the Thu Bon River at sunset.

Enjoy a scenic journey along the dramatic Hai Van Pass, stopping to admire panoramic coastal views. On arrival in Hue, explore the Imperial Citadel and Tu Duc’s graceful Mausoleum – reminders of the city’s royal past.

Visit the serene Thien Mu Pagoda overlooking the Perfume River before flying to bustling Ho Chi Minh City. The rest of the day is free to explore or simply unwind.

Venture into the Mekong Delta, where life revolves around the waterways. Take a boat trip from Cai Be to Vinh Long, visit local workshops, enjoy a home-cooked lunch with a local family, and glide through tranquil canals by sampan. Continue to Can Tho, the heart of the delta.

Wake early to visit the vibrant Cai Rang Floating Market, where colourful boats brim with fresh produce and local goods. After soaking in the lively atmosphere, return to Ho Chi Minh City.
