Hoi An Limits Visitors to Local Landmark [ 03 June 2019 07:58 ]

One of the most famous landmarks in Hoi An, the Japanese Covered Bridge, will limit the number of visitors to 20 at a time in a bid to preserve the historic attraction. Built by Japanese merchants in the 1600s, the site is one of the most popular in attractions in Hoi An and receives around 4000 visitors a day. This new visitor limit is one way in which the authorities are hoping to preserve the Japanese Covered Bridge until a more comprehensive restoration plan is completed.
