Trip Itinerary

Day 1 – Da Nang Arrival – Hoi An

Meet and greet on arrival at Da Nang Airport, followed by a transfer to the ancient town of Hoi An. Hotel check-in, with the remainder of the day free at leisure.

Optional evening experience (bookable and payable locally):

Attend a cultural performance in Hoi An, such as The Dar Show, a contemporary bamboo circus blending acrobatics, live music, and Central Vietnam folk traditions, or Hoi An Memories Show, a large-scale open-air performance retracing 400 years of Hoi An’s history through music, dance, and spectacular staging.

Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 2 – Hoi An Ancient Town

Explore the beautifully preserved Hoi An Ancient Town on foot in the morning, where centuries-old merchant houses and lantern-lit streets evoke the charm of a timeless past.

In the afternoon, continue by road to Tra Que Village, where you’ll stroll through a farm to discover traditional gardening methods, sample the local speciality tam huu spring rolls, and enjoy a relaxing traditional herbal footbath.

Day 3 – Hoi An – Da Nang - Hue

Travel north along the scenic coastal route, crossing the spectacular Hai Van Pass with sweeping sea and mountain views.

Stop in Da Nang to visit the Cham Museum, home to a remarkable collection of ancient artefacts from the Champa Kingdom.

Continue to Hue and, on arrival, visit the Minh Mang Mausoleum, a harmonious imperial tomb set amid landscaped gardens and tranquil lakes.

Day 4 – Imperial Hue

In the morning, enjoy a leisurely cyclo ride to the Imperial Citadel. Stop at the Nine Holy Cannons Gate before taking a short walk to explore the Citadel, the former seat of the Nguyen emperors and a UNESCO-listed complex of palaces, temples, and fortified walls reflecting Vietnam’s imperial past.

Afterwards, stroll to the Luc Bo Cultural Space, a contemporary heritage venue dedicated to Hue’s traditional crafts, rituals, and cultural expressions, offering a more intimate insight into local life and traditions.

In the afternoon, visit the serene Tu Duc Mausoleum, set amid lakes and pine forests and admired for its poetic harmony with nature. Continue by car to Thien Mu Pagoda, one of Hue’s most iconic landmarks, overlooking the Perfume River.

Day 5 – Hue – Departure

Enjoy free time at leisure until your transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
